Description
The objective of Hope Happens with a Horse is to provide safe and meaningful interactions between a challenged or troubled child (client) and a horse. These interactions have the opportunity to reinforce positive experiences and relationships. Allowing the child to understand how they interact and affect the horse will allow them to understand how to interact with other people. Animal therapy has been proven to help reduce the symptoms of Post Traumatic Symptoms, change the focus of negative experiences and reduce the affects of hyper-villigence including reducing depression, reducing heart rate and decreasing violent outbursts.
