Description

Hope for Henry needs your help to ensure that seriously ill kids don't miss out on the joy of childhood.

Hope for Henry Foundation has developed a comprehensive program for young patients being treated at the nation’s top pediatric oncology and hematology wards to entertain, provide distraction from painful procedures and fill their down time with fun and laughter. Hope for Henry provides gifts for children battling life-threatening illnesses, including their choice of iPods, Game Boys, digital cameras, portable DVD players and XM satellite radios to break the monotony of the hospital stay. We also give gifts to the patients’ siblings because their lives are interrupted too. We also throw parties that bring childhood pleasures to these hospitalized children and their families, including Halloween parties, summer carnivals, superhero days and book release parties.
