Description
The name of the new community foundation says it all. A crossing is defined as a road or a path. So the name, Hope Crossing, means "pathway to hope." The mission of the new foundation is to enhance the care and support of the aging, dying, and bereaved.
Hope Crossing will benefit the community by facilitating training and operation of direct care and support services in Northeast Kansas and Southeast Nebraska. This will maximize available services, human resources, and financial resources.
Hope Crossing will provide: caregiver support and resources; professional healthcare educationa and training; grief support for children and adults; resources and training for pastors and faith communities; financial gifts for the locally impoverished of this special population; care, support and resources for Veterans and military families.
