Hope Again of North Carolina is a faith-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit prisoner re-entry organization established in February 2012. Our mission is to utilize a holistic approach to reduce recidivism within eastern North Carolina, specifically within the counties of Halifax, Edgecombe, Nash and Wilson. Our mission is focused on empowering formerly incarcerated individuals and their families and/or youth that are at-risk to become serious offenders of the justice system to make positive life choices, enabling them to become productive members of their community. The strategically planned programs of Hope Again are designed to provide the support (such as shelter, food, clothing, counseling, spiritual development, job-readiness, employment and job creation) formerly incarcerated individuals need for successful re-entry and to break the cycle of recidivism. Hope Again will also refer clients to other social service agencies that provide services to further facilitate their reintegration into the community thus providing them HOPE AGAIN!!!
