Description

At Hooves & Paws Rescue of the Heartland we rehabilitate abused, starved, neglected or unwanted horses, donkeys, mules, dogs and puppies. If possible, following rehabilitation, we place such animals in loving homes. If for any reason an animal cannot be placed, that animal will live its life out at our Rescue/Shelter in a safe, loving environment in Glenwood, Iowa.

We open our rescue facility every Sunday at 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. to the public by appointment.
