Hoofbeats Therapeutic Riding Center, Inc., (HTRC) is a non-profit foundation dedicated to helping people with physical and mental disabilities through equine-facilitated therapy. The Center has been operating for over twelve years, providing therapeutic riding, training in horsemanship, and other services to thousands of children and adults with physical, mental, emotional, speech and learning disabilities ranging in age from 4 to 90 years old. Persons with such life-threatening or debilitaing disorders as autism, fibromyalgia, cerebral palsey, multpile schlerosis, and cancer have had significant improvements in their quality of life through our therapeutic program. We also conduct outreach programs to inform the public about the benefits of therapeutic riding and the concerns of the disabled. HTRC is a Premier Accredited Center of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association. HTRC operates as a 501(c)(3) organization.
