Description
Homespace is a non-profit organization that provides affordable transitional housing and support services for homeless single parents and their children. The goal of the organization is to empower the parents to develop and use his or her talents and abilities to become self sufficient, better parents.
Homespace is unique in that it provides shelter beyond the thirty days allowed in an emergency shelter. Single parents and their children are provided the opportunity to enjoy a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for up to twenty-four months, while they gain the skills needed and build the confidence necessary to return to independent living.
