Our mission is to eliminate the surplus animals from being born.
Animals will become more valuable & therefore, hopefully, treated with respect.
Our goal is "Pound Prevention" with homes for all.
Spaying & neutering is paramount; BIRTH PREVENTION = POUND PREVENTION.
Our philosophy is ensuring quality of life to all living creatures, both feral and domestic.
Controlling the reproduction rate of neighborhood strays, we are relieving some of the burden from the county pound, consequently saving money for the local governments & taxpayers. “Cleaning up" the local neighborhoods, HART helps prevent tom-fighting, spraying & the spread of diseases from the feral & stray animals to family pets. Pet overpopulation is a huge cost to the taxpayers, to the lives of the animals, & to the hearts of the people who care.
HART is a non-profit, tax exempt, all volunteer humane service organization dedicated to people and their pets as well as the homeless & stray animals who need our help
