Description

HIV Alliance is the only not-for-profit health organization in Lane County focused on supporting individuals living with HIV/AIDS and preventing new HIV infections. Our organization collaborates with several other not-for-profit agencies and governmental organizations to directly combat HIV/AIDS through community-based services. Principal services include:
• Education for youth and other members of high-risk populations, health and social service providers, and the general public;
• Free, confidential and anonymous HIV counseling, testing and referral services for people at risk for HIV;
• A health promotion and treatment readiness street outreach program targeting the 10,000 estimated injection drug users residing in Lane County;
• Safer sex outreach for adult and youth members of high-risk populations;
• Comprehensive, compassionate care, case management and referrals for people affected by HIV/AIDS
