Founded in 1807 on Capitol Hill in Washington DC, Historic Congressional Cemetery is the "home" of 55,000 famous, infamous, and regular citizens. The Association for the Preservation of Historic Congressional Cemetery offers free tours, programs on 19th and 20th century historic events, and many volunteer activities.
