Description
Founded in 1995, our mission is to foster cultural understanding among Latino/as and other residents of our rural county and to empower Hispanics to overcome the challenges they face as immigrants and find their voice in the community. Our main purpose is to improve the quality of life for Hispanic families and to ensure access to the services and information they need to succeed in their new life in the U.S. We accomplish this through direct services, case management, information, resource referrals, leadership development, youth programs, education and interpreting.
Our primary direct services include: Basic Needs Assistance and Hunger Relief, Assistance to Latino/a Victims of Crime or Fraud, Financial Counseling, and our Youth Leadership and Gang Prevention/Intervention Program.
