Description
The Hispanic Health Coalition of Georgia, Inc. (HHCGA) was created at a grass roots level in 1990 and in 1999, became incorporated as a nonprofit organization.
Our mission is to promote health and social change in Hispanic/Latino communities by connecting individuals and organizations, and by providing leadership and advocacy on health issues affecting the Hispanic/Latino community.
HHCGA is comprised of over 100 representatives from local and regional non-profits and government agencies, and many individuals committed to increasing the availability of health and human services to Spanish-speaking clients.
Our program activities focus on strengthening the community by conveying cultural and professional knowledge to organizations, and advocating to improve access to services and promoting new policies that protect the rights of Hispanics/Latinos for better health.
Our vision is to empower the Hispanic/Latino community to achieve optimum health and well being.
