Description
Established in 1989, His House Children’s Home is a private, faith based non-profit, faith-based, social service agency, whose mission is to fulfill God’s directive to defend the cause of the weak and the fatherless, by providing excellent residential, case management, foster care, adoption and counseling services to the children of South Florida in crisis and support for their families.
The agency is licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families, contracted by Our Kids Inc. and Child-Net, Inc. in Broward as a residential program and child-placement agency.
It's model is unlike your typical shelter. The home is staffed with loving house parents and supportive caregivers. Each house provides a home for ten to twelve children.
Today, the organization is counted within the top five providers for at-risk children in South Florida, providing residential care for over 65 children in shelter and over 350 children in foster care.
