Description
The Highview Alternative Program offers a smaller, unique, more personal educational environment for students who find it challenging to function within a larger high school. Highview offers individualized, self-paced work with expectations oriented around a wide variety of ability levels that provide opportu-nities for success through flexibility and choices. Highview students have a chance to partake in academic coursework similar to what is taught at the larger high schools, as well as receive life skills training, career planning, and work experience through community building activities, field trips, speakers, and mini-courses.
