Description
The mission of Hidden Voices is to challenge, strengthen, and connect our diverse communities through the transformative power of the individual voice. Hidden Voices brings together professional artists and typically overlooked individuals for an extended workshop process where they develop visual art, movement, music, and narrative performance pieces that shed light on a unique dialogue of experience and identity. The resulting performances are presented to the public through traditional artistic venues and through less traditional venues in diverse communities. By bringing together professional artists, the typically voiceless, service organizations, and the public, Hidden Voices projects create a powerful vehicle for positive community interaction and artistic growth.
