Description
We are an elementary school in Waukesha, WI with just over 425 students. Our PTA is very active in our school and has been raising money over the last 2 years to build a new, more accessible playground for out students. We have raised over $43,000 and will put up our new playground in August of this year. Now we are saving for Phase 2--which will be an additional $10-15,000 to add an activity to our playground that will allow for full wheelchair accessiblity to meet the needs of more of our special needs population. Heyer is a target school for these kids because we have such a strong special needs program.
