Description
HLT is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission statement is: To contribute to the increased enrichment of the cultural life of the people of Henderson County, and of surrounding areas, by encouraging and promoting appreciation of, and interest in, the arts of the theatre.
To produce, publish and present various dramatic works of literary and artistic merit, both established and experimental, approved and untried, for the entertainment and enjoyment, and the intellectual and emotional stimulation, of all who may be interested.
To further knowledge and the development of skill in the dramatic and associated arts and crafts, by working participation and by academic and vocational training and instruction in all phases of theatre production, ranging from the reading and writing of plays and musical compositions to the problems of business administration and management.
