Description
Helping Ease Life's Poverty Inc. (H.E.L.P.) exists to provide a 10-14 day supply of groceries each month as well as other emergency services to low and no income families in Pike County.
Other services include home food delivery for elderly and or disabled shut-ins, emergency food box program for those in emergency situations who are without food, free clothing each month for low or no income families, air conditioner and heater loaner program for the low income elderly and disabled whose lives are adversely affected by the seasons, emergency minor home repairs where the need is due to unsafe or unsanitary conditions and providing handicapped accessible wheelchair ramps.
