Description
Helmer Nature Center is an environmental education facility owned and operated by the West Irondequoit Central School District in Rochester, New York. Approximately 45 acres of varied habitats provides the opportunity for NYS standard based field experiences for ages pre-k to grade 12. Programs are available to both in and out of district classes as well as a broad range of after school and community events available to the public.
