Hello Gorgeous! of HOPE, Inc, is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to teach cancer patients and survivors to use hair pieces, wiglet turbans, milder lines of cosmetics and skin products and specific cosmetological knowledge to hide the damage done to the patients appearance due to the treatment of their cancer. Mainstream radiation and chemo therapies typically leave their patients weak, sick, sore, many times burned, hair and eyebrows gone or falling out in handfuls, and with a generally poor attitude toward the public eye. Many of them have little desire to leave their homes, let alone travel to a salon atmosphere with these treatment side-effects, so Hello Gorgeous! would travel to them, to their home in Indiana, at the behest and nomination of their friends or family, in a large, state-or-the-art Recreational Vehicle specifically modified to be a mobile Salon Spa.
