Description
Hearts & Horses Therapeutic Riding Center promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well being of people with special needs through equine assisted therapy. We provide therapy to adults and children and work with a variety of special needs such as Multiple Sclorosis, Cerebral Palsey, Autismn, Blindness, Stroke and cognitive delay. We also partner with Hospice to provide camps for grieving children and partner with a local mental health center to offer therapy to at risk youth. We require the help of nearly 125 volunteers per week.
