Description
Animal Assisted Therapy using the miniature horses. Bring miniature horses into facilities: Hospice Houses, Nursing Homes, Rehabilitation Centers, etc. Also used in counseling - especially children who are more open with a distraction instead of one on one. Mini Stories is where children read to the miniatur horse - more comfortable reading aloud to a horse who is nonjudgemental than to peers. Speech impairment, shy, or reading below grade level.
