Heartland Rural Health Network's mission is to improve access to health care services in our rural areas.
This is done through: Ensuring availability of a wide array of services either directly, by contract, or through referral agreements; Enhancing access to high quality health care and services; Protecting the health and safety of rural residents; Ensuring that quality care is efficiently delivered to all persons in rural areas; Serving as ‘laboratories’ to determine the best possible way to organize rural health services.
