Description
Heart of the City Neighborhoods, Inc. is a a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit Community Development Corporation created to stabilize Buffalo's Lower West Side communities.
HOCN's mission is to create, facilitate and support housing and neighborhood development on the Lower West Side.
This is accomplished by creating programs to improve the quality of residential housing, assisting private developers, neighborhood leaders, the City and other not-for-profit organizations to develop sustainable projects to improve Lower West Side neighborhoods.
Our current programs target low-income families looking to become first-time homebuyers, and low-income elderly and disabled homeowners who are in need of moderate home repairs to remain living in their home.
