Teen Institute (TI) is a positive peer prevention program geared toward youth in grades 6 - 12 using educational information from a variety of researched-based programs. Activities include participating in meetings designed to educate on drug, alcohol and tobacco prevention, participating in community service projects, assisting with Prom Promise campaign, and serve as leaders at their school by promoting healthy, alcohol, tobacco and drug-free lifestyles. TI meetings are held bi-weekly during club times, lunch or after school. TI also has a annual retreat where students from 6-10 counties participate in learning about Alcohol, Tobacco, and drug prevention for three days.
