The Health Literacy Foundation is based in Chicago, IL and is a nationwide non-profit agency whose mission is to help medically vulnerable and underserved populations gain access to the most reliable and relevant health information and materials, as well as provide education on how to participate in treatment plans and navigate a complex health system. We envision a world where all people, regardless of ethnicity, gender, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, educational level, or attainment in life are provided with the health information and tools necessary to live at their highest capacity for a positive quality of life experience.
