Health Horizons International (HHI) is a US based charity that aims to improve community health and expand access to quality health care in the Puerto Plata province of the Dominican Republic. We partner medical service trips with local capacity-building and health initiatives, enabling us to address health issues in their social, economic, and cultural context.
In creating a community-based model for medical service trips to effect sustainable health outcomes, our vision is to empower underserved communities to achieve well-being and to engage international support for community development and health promotion.
