Description
Healing Waters is a San Francisco-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower, inspire and enrich the lives of people challenging HIV/AIDS through wilderness adventures.
We offer overnight rafting trips, backpacking, sea kayaking and day hiking. We also have a week-long whitewater kayak camp for HIV+ youth that we offer free of charge.
Additionally we work with groups in the Seattle, WA region as well as groups from Los Angeles. Our youth campers come from across the nation.
Our organization is volunteer based with two full time staff and over 160 active volunteers annually.
