Description
Healing the Children Northeast, Inc. (HTCNE) was founded in 1985 to address the medical needs of children. Our territory includes New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Our mission is accomplished through the delivery of services via three core programs:
• Domestic Kids Program
• Medical Teams Abroad Program
• International Inbound Program
The Domestic Kids Program arranges medical treatment and assistance to children in need in the local communities of our territory.
The Medical Teams Abroad Program consists solely of volunteer teams of medical professionals who provide health screening and on-site surgeries to children in less developed countries.
On average, 20 missions are coordinated each year.
The International Inbound Program brings children to the United States for linkage with specialized medical and surgical treatment.
