Description

Headwaters Trails Alliance (HTA) is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization advocacy for trails in Grand County. Our mission is, "In partnership with Bureau of Land Management (BLM), United States Forest Service (USFS) and other community and national trail organizations, HTA will preserve, protect, build and maintain trails in Grand County and will manifest the common goal of creating and sustaining the public system of networked trails and access for all recreational users."
HTA is the only countywide organization with goals focused on building and linking a complete non-motorized, natural surfaced trail system that will interconnect all municipalities within Grand County, eventually to the other 7 surrounding counties, lead to historical sites and record and map the existing trails and proposed trails corridors within Grand County. To date, over 15 miles of trails have been constructed over both private and public lands by our non-profit organization.
