Description

Head Start in Lincoln County is a vital part of the Community Services Consortium (CSC) a community action agency providing services to vulnerable populations in Linn, Benton and Lincoln Couinties, Oregon. Our Head Start program serves vulnerable 3-5 year old low-income children.

Head Start in Lincoln County (HSLC) provides educational, mental, physical and socio-emotional support for 141 low income children and their families. We are in the midst of a capital campaign and have currently raised $1.2 million needed for a $1.3- 4 million Newport Head Start child and family care facility project.
