The school family of Hawaiian Mission Academy agrees that wisdom is a loving gift to each of us from our Creator and that a relationship with Him is the foundation of all true education. We delight to explore and discover such wisdom in the places where God reveals Himself to us in the inspiring lives of other followers, in the beauty of creation, and in the practical teachings of His Word.

So we say that true education means harmoniously developing the physical, the mental, and the spiritual powers. It is more than reading books. It is more than remembering facts. It is more than acquiring knowledge. True education helps students gain an appreciation for the character of God and the purposes of His kingdom.
