Description
Haven Homeschoolers operates as a cooperative group of homeschooling parents and children. We are Christian-based, but not Christian-exclusive. Our purpose is to encourage family members in their homeschooling efforts by providing information, socialization, fellowship and support: Specifically:
? To take advantage of group rates and places that would cost us more on our own
? To provide opportunities for review and discussion of curricula
? To provide instructional and social opportunities through field trips and special activities
? To provide information about county and state requirements, evaluation/testing
? To foster orderliness and responsibility in our personal lives and in the education or our children
? To present to the community a positive example of homeschooling
