Description

Have a Heart for Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation is committed to provide the following: to diminish suffering and improve the quality of lfe for those affected by sickle cell disease; to raising the public's awareness; to provide education to patients, their families, health professional, the general public about the disease, its management and its challenges. We strive to promote positive patient relationships to empower those affected by the disease to more effectively cope with their illness. We are committed to raising funds for research and continued medical treatment and care of the disease through education and screening programs.
Our Youth Development Program for children and their families includes, tutoring and enrichment components and illustrates the vision and mission of the organization.
