The Harvard School of Public Health AIDS Initiative is dedicated to fighting HIV/AIDS in resource-scarce regions of the world through, and in sub-Saharan Africa (in Botswana), our work includes scientific research (e.g., preventing mother-to-infant transmission of HIV), intervention (treatment with antiretrovirals), and education (training health care professionals as well as the next generation of African scientists).
