Description

Hands On Northeast Ohio "NEO" was founded in early 2007 after an intensive environmental assessment of the direct service volunteer landscape in our community. After speaking with nonprofit, business and civic leaders as well as YOU the individual volunteer, it was clear that more needed to be done to engage individuals to make civic change.

We make it simple for volunteers to choose from a variety of projects that connect community needs with their time and interests. Participants are screened and trained to ensure a capable, informed direct service volunteer force, and through this network of individuals, we build the capacity of area nonprofits, schools and municipal agencies.
