Description
The Hampton Roads Youth Center is a non-profit organization located in the city of Suffolk. We accept children into the program who live within a 60-mile radius of the center. We have a 10,000 square foot building housing separate homes for boys and girls, the Harvey L. Lindsay, Jr. School, a library, dining hall and administrative offices. This is a setting for children who are experiencing emotional, social, educational, and family problems. Their families have utilized other services but they have not met the needs of the children and an out of home placement is their only option.
