Description

Halo Network Foundation Barista Training & Education Program (JavaStart), and Culinary Program (CHEFS) success stems from a comprehensive program that includes job training and placement in espresso and
the food service industry, an innovative life skills curriculum, case management, employability and
job placement, as well as a welcoming and supportive community. These services, combined with
students’ personal courage and commitment, can truly transform lives. With at least 80% of
graduates securing and retaining living wage jobs, it is evident that our colaboration with the FareStart model works. It is
also long lasting. Months and even years after their graduation, alumnae return to share their
success stories with current students and encourage them to take seriously the many “lessons for
life” offered to them by Halo Network Foundation.
