Description

The Hackettstown Community Band is a musical group, open to all players of reasonable ability without auditions or fees. It is classified non-profit under the federal code 501(c)(3). It has a history of 60 years and supports the community with parades and concerts, with the expressed goals of
A. Providing developing musicians a learning avenue of information and experience from seasoned musicians.
B. Providing culteral experiences in the form of musical entertainment to the residents of nursing facilities, senio citizen homes, and retirement communities.
C. Promoting civic pride, spirit, and patriotism by performing concerts and parades for residents of local communities, particularly, but not limited to, commemorating such national holidays as Independence Day, Memorial Day, an Veteran's Day.
