Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, enumenical Christian housing ministry dedicated to eliminate provery and homelessness. This organization was founded by Millard and Linda Fuller in 1976. Since then HFHI has built, and rehabilitated or repaired tens of thousands of houses. Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God providing decent and affortable housing to low income families to help develop communities in which people can live and grow into all that God intended. The Goal of Habitat for Humanity is to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness worldwide and to make affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. John 3:18 tels us that "Our love must not be just words, it must true love which shows itself in action." Habitat brings people from all walks of life together to put their faith into action by making affortable housing and better communities a reality for everyone.
