Description

A not-for-profit housing ministry chartered as an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International in October 1986 dedicated to the elimination of substandard housing in the St. Louis area. Through volunteer labor, management expertise and tax-deductible donations of money and materials, HFHSL builds homes in partnership with the homeowner(s). Houses are sold at no profit to partner homeowners, and a no-interest first mortgage is issued.
