Description

An affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, Habitat Springfield is located in Springfield, Missouri and builds houses for people in need in Greene County, Missouri with help from dedicated community sponsors and volunteers. Habitat for Humanity of Springfield is building Legacy Trails Subdivision, an enviromentally-friendly community that will house 55 families when it is complete. Habitat Springfield also operates the Habitat ReStore at 2410 S. Scenic Ave. in Springfield. The ReStore sells new and used building supplies to the public at hugely discounted prices which helps people save money on home improvements and helps keep usable materials out of the landfill. All proceeds from the ReStore help build Habitat houses.
