Description
About San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people from all walks of life to create better, permanent shelter for lower-income families. To accomplish this, Habitat for Humanity builds houses, providing decent homes in decent communities where people can live and grow into all that God intended.
San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity is a local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Our affiliate was founded in 1990 and seeks to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action while eliminating poverty housing and homelessness from the San Gabriel Valley.
Our affiliate is in the process of building 15 homes; upon completion of these projects, we will have built a total of 54 homes, providing almost 300 men, women and children with safe, decent, affordable shelter. Our current builds are in Glendale and Monrovia.
