Description

A group of students, faculty and staff members started our Campus Chapter of Habitat for Humanity in Fall 1994. Seeing our commitment and enthusiasm, a board member of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Bridgeport suggested that we apply to become officially recognized as a Campus Chapter of Habitat for Humanity International. This suggestion and the support of the University's Campus Ministry department, led to our application and acceptance as a Campus Chapter of Habitat for Humanity in the Spring of 1995, becoming the first Campus Chapter in Fairfield County.
