Habitat Riverside is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that builds affordable homes for families in need. Habitat Riverside considers themselves as a "hand up" and not a "hand out". Families partner with Habitat Riverside by volunteering and paying a 0% mortgage for their home. Habitat Riverside also builds sustainable, green homes. Each home is energy efficient and has solar panels installed on them.
