Description
Habitat provides the opportunity for homeownership for hard working families that demonstrate a need. A self-help program that provides a hand-up, not a hand out. Qualified families are expected to help build their homes in a partnership with Habitat. Once the home is finished, the homeowner pays a no-interest mortgage back to Habitat. Those payments are placed back into program funds to build more homes.
