Description

Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical Christian nonprofit organization that relies on the gifts of its supporters to build simple, decent, safe, and affordable houses.

Habitat homeowners pay for their house by investing hundreds of "sweat equity" hours and by paying their monthly mortgage payments. House payments revert back to a "Fund for Humanity" so that additional houses can be built.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit housing ministry based on Christian principles. It welcomes all to join in its work.
