Description
Kaw Valley Habitat for Humanity's mission is to build simple, decent homes and communities in Wyandotte, Johnson and Leavenworth Counties in partnership with God’s people in need, while following biblical principles.
Since chartered in 1987, we have built 137 homes in partnership with low income family's in need of decent, affordable housing. Families work 350 hours on their home and the home of another family. All homes are built with approximately 70% volunteer labor. Over 2,000 volunteers a year help build homes side by side with homeowner families.
Homeowner families purchase their home with no cost added with a 0% mortgage.
