Habitat for Humanity-Corpus Christi, Inc., is a non-profit ecumenical Christian organization dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat is founded on the convection that every man, woman and child should have a simple decent, affordable place to live in dignity and safety. Habitat for Humanity-Corpus Christi, Inc. is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Habitat for Humanity's work is accomplished at the community level by affiliates-independently, locally run non-profit organizations. As the Corpus Christi affiliate, we coordinate all aspects of our home building in the Corpus Christi area, to include fundraising, building site selection, partner family selection and support, house construction and interest free mortgage servicing. Since our inception in 1989, Habitat for Humanity-Corpus Christi, Inc. has constructed 24 homes for deserving families, with the 25th home now underway.
