Description

The purpose of the Special Education Club is:
-To establish the organization as an active, participating, and contributing member of Gwynedd-Mercy College through the following:
o Club meetings
o Club sponsored events
o Professional Development opportunities
o Interaction with students with special needs
Consultation, interaction, and communication with professional staff at Gwynedd-Mercy College.
-To strive to meet the college’s theme for the year “The Cultivation of Compassion: Improving the Human Condition”
-To initiate, establish, and maintain lasting partnerships with surrounding schools, communities, organizations, and persons through club initiatives, events, and interactions.
-To further expand the knowledge of the members through on site and off site experiences with the special needs community.
